This advertisement is extremely moving and is an excellent representation for fighting racism and intolerance. While racism is not nearly like it was just decades ago, it still is a problem that many Americans, and people worldwide, face on a daily basis. The most notable aspect of the advertisement was the fact that there are three people cleaning up the “graffiti” and yet the viewer cannot distinguish which race any of the three people are or even what sex they are for that matter. From this ad one should really look at race and sex as nothing more than something that affects our appearance as humans and is no grounds for any kind of judgment or mistreatment. The advertisement aims at peoples benevolent sides and the fact that for this issue to be finished once and for all, human beings need to unite as one regardless of any kind of division and that racist organizations (KKK, neo-nazi’s, etc) need to be erased and dissolved. The three people who are erasing the graffiti are working together, united and this, like was said above, is essential to the success of dealing with this problem and making it an issue of the past. It should be noted that in the advertisement it says: “We will beat the feeling” which further emphasizes the team aspect involved in beating huge issues such as this and the fact that alone it is difficult to take on huge undertakings. Although racism is no longer as huge as it once was, it is still present today and because of this advertisements such as this are needed to ignite a movement that will once and for all be the force that leads to the end of racism and intolerance as we know it.
